Gasbuddy relies on consumers to report local gas prices. I found one problem is that some of the prices reported are from the signs at the station rather than the actual price at the pump. I was pleasantly surprised when I filled up the other day...the price on the sign was five cents per gallon higher than the actual price at the pump.
